With a schedule like mine, how do I find time to market my business online?
Through our research Twitter account @checkerboardweb, I found this interesting tidbit over at Search Engine Roundtable. It talks about how Google selects your page title to display in results and gives a great resource to help with writing for SEO.
Before you start talking with your new prospects, get to know your clients. Who are the ones you love to work for? One of the first things we go over in our site planning is a definition of your target market and sub-markets.
Your new web site has the ability to act has your social media hub and the conversion point for any online promotions you run. When you combine a Web site with publishing capabilities with social media channels and email you have direct access to your customers and prospects. It is good to understand the two types of communications that will be taking place on and through your site. This is particularly important of you choose to have internal or external assistance managing your community.
