We constantly hear praises about how user friendly WordPress is. Our clients love that they can quickly and easily go into their websites to make additions and revisions. We recently built a website for Ingham Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camps and they’ve especially appreciated the “Forms” feature of WordPress. Here’s what they had to say about it:
Hosting is discussed at the beginning of every website build. We can recommend a hosting provider; however, clients are more than welcome to explore other options as well. Before they can research hosting providers, it’s important they know the WordPress requirements.
We provide several classes to the community about preparing for and getting the most out of social media. Social media isn’t going away, it is only getting stronger. This class attempts to prepare business owners and marketing managers to make social media part of their normal processes, to stay connected with their customers and prospects, and ultimately drive revenue. We have a full room this morning and the questions are insightful. For those that attended, if you have any questions you didn’t get a chance to ask, use the comments area below to ask away. We will answer them through our content streams in the weeks to come. Thanks again!
Congratulations to Mike Danielson, Media Relations’ director of Health and Nutrition Division. His article, Why Social Media Marketing Must Follow Old Media Rules, was named Readers’ Choice by RainToday.com, a top sales and marketing resource website.
I have know Rob from the Tree and Stump Company for a long time. He runs a good business and takes care of his customers. When he finally came around to marketing online I was excited. It was with one of our first MarketSmart Core Builds. I knew he needed something easy to use that would get him found. What I didn’t know was that he cancelled $20,000 worth of advertising for the year and was hoping his site would make up the difference.

The Girlfriends Expo & Getaway is an annual event where women can kick back, and enjoy shopping, interactive seminars, great entertainment and spend quality “girl time” with their friends. To bring this fun expo to life on the Internet, its PowerSite needed to be as vibrant and energetic as the expo itself. The homepage has a full-scale slider with large, action-filled photos taken during past events, as well as show hours, location, expo video, a blog feed and more details in attention-grabbing positions.
The PowerSite also has miniature, automatic sliders that showcase all the companies supporting this event. Ladies exploring the website will find a handy exhibitors list with booth numbers, as well as a preview of some of the exciting giveaways and drawings happening during the expo. A Shop at the Show section is an online catalog, giving the ladies a sneak peak at just some of the great finds they’ll see at the show.
Speakers and entertainment for The Girlfriends Expo & Getaway are clearly organized by date and time, so the ladies can plan their schedules around fashion shows, make up demos and more! Event specials, admission tickets and a built-in interactive map further help with pre-planning for this two-day event. This highly functional PowerSite incorporates many powerful event features that give it a fun, easy-to-navigate, energetic feel.
